Sam Miles Textbook Scholarship

The Sam Miles Textbook Scholarship is a $500 scholarship per semester ($1000 per year, contingent on sucessful academic progress) to students completing the HCC Textbook Scholarship application, a separate application from the academic scholarship. The scholarship was endowed with the college from an estate gift of the late Sam Miles. Mr. Miles Applications reviewed by HCC Foundation Textbook Scholarship Committee. Applications due in July. Mr. Miles was a former president of the Kentucky Auto Dealers Association. He served 60 years on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and was a member of the Christian County Historical Society and Board of the Pennyroyal Museum.
From 1969 through 1982 Mr. Miles served on the board of Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
